Coppull Mill
Coppull Mill in Chorley, Lancashire, has been recently acquired by the Lowry Group with 180,000 sq ft of space soon to be leased, including storage.
HISTORY
Coppull Mill was opened in 1906 by the Coppull Ring Spinning Co, followed by its sister mill, Mavis Mill in 1908. Between them, the mills employed more than 700 people.
In 1941, the Lancashire Cotton Corporation took it over. It was then sold to Courtaulds in 1964. The building is Grade II listed and is now used as an enterprise centre.
